Terms of Service

Last updated: September 19, 2026

These terms govern your use of the tintolabs.com website and your purchase of Tinto Labs apps. By using the website or buying an app, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

Tinto Labs is the trade name of Jairo Alejandro Pinto Garzón, an independent software developer based in Ibagué, Tolima, Colombia ("Tinto Labs", "we", "us"). Contact: support@tintolabs.com.

2. Our products

We make software for macOS: Tempo, MiniTray, Pulso and Arcadoro, sold individually or together as a bundle. Each app's page on this website describes what it does and which version of macOS it needs. Please check the requirements — and try the app — before buying.

3. Free trial

Every app can be used free of charge, with all features, for 7 days on each Mac. No payment details or account are needed. When the trial ends, the app asks for a license key to keep working. The trial is limited to one per app and per Mac; attempts to restart it or get around it aren't allowed.

4. Buying an app

  • Reseller and Merchant of Record. Our online orders are processed by Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy LLC), which sells the apps to you as our reseller and Merchant of Record. Your purchase is also subject to Lemon Squeezy's Buyer Terms, which govern payment, taxes and invoicing.
  • Prices. Prices are shown in US dollars. Sales taxes or VAT are calculated at checkout according to your location and may be added to the price shown.
  • Delivery. After payment, you receive your license key by email right away. You can also find it at any time in your Lemon Squeezy orders.
  • Bundle. The bundle includes a license for each of the four apps.

5. Your license

Each app is licensed, not sold, under our License Agreement (EULA). In short:

  • It's a one-time purchase with no subscription, and the license doesn't expire.
  • You can use the app on up to three (3) Macs that you own or control, for personal use or your own professional work.
  • Updates within the major version you bought (for example, all 1.x releases) are included at no extra cost. A future major version may be offered as a paid upgrade; the version you bought keeps working.
  • Activating the license requires an internet connection. You can move your license to another Mac by deactivating it on the old one first.

6. Refunds

You can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, for any reason. See our Refund Policy.

7. Support and changes to the apps

We provide support by email at support@tintolabs.com and usually reply within 2 business days. We keep improving the apps, and we may change, add or remove features, or stop selling an app. None of this affects your right to keep using the version you already bought under the EULA.

8. Using this website

Don't misuse the website: don't try to break into it, overload it, interfere with its security or copy its content for commercial purposes. We may update or change the website at any time.

9. Intellectual property

The website, the apps and their names, logos, icons, text and code belong to Tinto Labs. Apple, Mac and macOS are trademarks of Apple Inc. ChatGPT, Claude, CleanShot, Shottr, Snagit and other third-party names mentioned on this site belong to their respective owners; we mention them only to explain compatibility, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The website is provided "as is". The apps are covered by the warranty disclaimers and liability limits in the EULA. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country that cannot be waived by contract.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in its courts where the law allows.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version published here, with its date, is the one that applies. Changes don't affect purchases already made, which keep the terms in force when you bought.

13. Language

These terms are available in English and Spanish. If there is any discrepancy, the English version prevails.
